The mountains that surround Bormio (and Alta Valtellina in general) are becoming more and more bikers friendly with cross country and free ride trails, bike parks, bike skill centres, bike schools and mountain bikes shops.

The lifts of the ski area Le Motte (opening times and periods) and of the other ski areas in the neighbourhood are open in the summer too; this makes it easier to explore single trails, tracks and paths!
